morning everyone

had to chuckle liz at your friend on her hols,

poor thing must of been in pain, but making jokes must hurt more with the laughing at um, bless her
they are very strong sheep ,

all sons mates are home safe,
they look after each other, and did manage to have plenty of drink(as young men do, ) plenty of sun sea and fun,
apparently the lad who hit his head was covered in blood, as you would be with head wound, the lads who went in ambulance were annoyed cos the greek ambulance man was just laughing at them, while they had to stop thier mate chocking on his tongue,

i would of been a wreck if my son had gone, cos i always think the worse anyway,

My OH always says you have to be fit to go on holiday.

He has a cast iron stomach, but has gone down with food poisoning twice on holidays, once in Yorkshire, once in Italy.

I have been bitten by mosquitos, and had swollen legs.

Held up at airports, plane flying round and round at Gatwick, to land.

OH - said enough is enough, better off in your own home. so now it is out for days..

Holidays can be dangerous things, I am glad your lad wasn't there to risk having an accident with his mates and hope his pals are ok now.

I got an email from a friend yesterday - this is what she wrote:

We were away for a few days last week up in Yorkshire. I got ran over by a sheep (go on, laugh, everyone else has)!!, but I am now off work because I can't drive. I have got a sprained ankle & done my ribs in again. I don't think they are cracked this time, but nearly as painful. Bruises up my leg & on my hand & wrist. Del says he isn't taking me on holiday anymore, I am a liablilty!! Still, I am lucky, it could have been alot worse!! It could have been a cow, or even a bull. If it had been I wouldn't be sitting here writing this now!!!
Del has come home from work today with bad stomach cramps (I hope he hasn't got Swine Flu). Apart from all that we are fine.

I had to laugh, especially at the last bit, apart from that we are fine!!! She is a friend I have known since 1971 and is only 5' and fairly slim, so can imagine her being bowled over by a sheep!
