Hiya Annie,

Have a look at the following websites http://www.carvoeiro.com/ and http://www.ferragudouncovered.com/

Then, there is *Colina Da Lapa Club*, the addy is too long to copy and paste so just Google *

This resort is situated between the above two villages and is a 35 minute drive from Faro airport. Carvoeiro is the closest of the two villages. There is a coffee shop on the outskirts of Carvoeiro where we enjoy a full English breakfast for less then 15 euros for the two of us.

Next to it is an English pub that serves Sunday Roasts for about 8 euros each, if memory serves me correctly. Both have pavement cafe´s so you can enjoy the sunshine. Of course there are many more pubs and restaurants but not sure how many of them are open at that time of the year.

Or you might like following which is a bit more lively. Armaçao de Pera which has restaurants, and apartments all along the beach front.

My favorite place is Tavira, a bit more expensive then out our way. We thought about booking there but opted for Brazil instead.

Then there is Praia de Rocha in Portimao which has a fantastic beach. also, apart hotels, hotels, restaurants.

Then there is Alvor, also with a fantastic beach and is next to Praia de Rocha.

As I mentioned on my other thread there is Lagos and Albufeira which is very popular with the tourists but I can't comment as I very seldom go out that way.

Enjoy,

Give me a shout if you need more help.

Chat later,

Lindy ;))
