A grand old gentleman, now at rest.

I had to be out and missed most of yesterday's TV.
Do you know if I can catch up online please, ...and if so, where?

i agree ann
i thought why did such a wonderful man, not have so much love
his daughter was astranged from her family, why?
for 40 years she hadnt seen her dad,
his grandson said how he adored his wife who died of leukemia, and she died in 73,
she was the only lady he ever kissed,
what a lovely story,
and then his life,
he was such a kind man and loved the company of children , who were fascinated by his storys, and who said themselves he was very old but at same time very young

yesterday I thought how much he would have enjoyed it. All his family together, those from the States and the sister he never knew was still alive. How cruel that he didn't know yet she went to the funeral all dressed up with a big black hat. Wouldn't he have loved to know his Grandson too, and his Grandson says he wishes he had known he was his grandfather. How sad. Then he would have loved the old planes in the fly past and the 113 gun salute. What a great send off he had, so very well deserved, not for how long he lived but for what he was.
