Jude, he does have a good rapport with J, who is another child with 'old' ways about him, he said to my son You and I will always have a bond, cos you taught me my manners! He has been used to lots of people around all the time, a couple of them have children the same age but most were single so he got lots of attention but heard a bit too much sometimes lol
He used to stay overnight here when he was younger and my son and his Mum were still together, and he would sleep on a bed made up on the floor in our bedroom as he was a bit mischievious if left to his own devices and would get up and go down and touch things he shouldn't, if you know what I mean. This house isn't very child friendly so I had him in the same room so I would hear if he got up and went out the room. When o.h. got up, J would climb into bed with me, and go back to sleep or lay and natter or sing.... that used to drive me nuts so if o.h. had gone to work, I would take J down and give him some breakfast or a just a banana and a drink and then he would get back in bed and go to sleep giving me a little longer. Then later we would get up and go and have breakfast, he used to tell people it was good staying with me cos he got two breakfasts lol, once he even had three! He is very funny too and incredibly articulate even when very young - I used to love having him, but since they split up he is too busy with spending time with his Dad, and all the grandparents as all of them are divorced so double the amount of houses to visit.

Thanks Jude, I hope so too, he has already proved himself good 'Dad' material when he helped bring up his girlfriend, now ex's, little boy from the age of 3 - 7ish. He still sees him sometimes too altho he doesn't have a lot to do with ex, now and again he will pick J. up and they will have a boys night at my son's flat with pizza and a dvd or computer game and he will stay over, then his Nan picks him up next morning.

Stop it, Jude, am so envious lol

I love the sayings little ones come out with, my son said once when I put his little wristwatch on, " I wish I had two watches cos then I would have twice as much time!" I sent that one to Woman's Realm or some such magazine (is W.R. still going?) and won some money when the letter was published.

Had a text this morning from a friend, her grandson said "Granddad is very lucky is'nt he (granddad sadly died 4 yrs ago)" his grandmother said "well no not really" then he said "yeh he is because he can talk to Michael Jackson and Auntie P when ever he wants to now"

How cute and innocent is that:o))

My grandson who is 2yrs 2mths old now says "scuse me nanny" to his other nanny, hopefully he'll be saying it to me on Thursday:o)) awww he's so gorgeous:o))
