Did you notice that, when they were showing her birth cert etc that she lived her early years up here in South Shields?

I wonder what brought her father up here, from Egypt?

What a life she must have led - noted ballerina, considered for the special forces in WW2, an habitue of the London clubs of the sixties.

Worth a novel or a film?

I wonder why the dancer changed even her birth day, as well as the year.She must have looked good for her age in order to get away with it.

I felt sorry for the lady who had received a birthday card from her brother, then the authorities didn't inform her that he had died.

I watched this week's editions on Sky plus this morning

The story of the ballerina/socialite who decided she was 20 years younger than she was really moved me
