Hi All,

I have in excess of 100 photo's from when my granddad was a POW during ww2 in Stalag XXa or XXb, I know very little as he died when I was very young. I am trying to piece together what and where he went during this period of his life. He was a platoon sergeant major Leicestershire regiment Surname Hannigan. I am happy to share the pictures I have, they are mostly from plays and sport events with some group pictures. Please feel free to contact me and I can e-mail copies as I am scanning them all in and cataloguing

When I went to Kew last year to find and find any info on my uncle who was a prisoner in Poland, there was anything on him, but did find some paperwork on a friend of his, he was asked about the prison and things like that. I then spoke to someone there and they said that the paperwork for prisoners was going to released to them by Germany, BUT!!! they couldn't say when..

my late father in law was a p.o.w for 5yrs captured at dunkirk start of the war he was in stalagxxa gepruft 21 in poland. does anyone know how i can find out any information about this camp. many thanks maria.
