Does anybody know if there are any printable blank charts online so i can keep track of how many ancestors i have found.

Ancestry have some. Go into the learning area - where Tony Robinson is.

They also have family group sheets which are useful.

Familysearch used to do them but I couldn't find them on there yesterday when looking for the same things for a friend.

I thought also they used to be on here but since the last re-design I would have no idea where to look!

"Yours" magazine this week, (may be last weeks come to think of it) have a useful circular type chart free inside..

Click on Help Select General Stuff, then Where are the printable charts? This will give yo the link to three types of chart.

Pedigree Charts
These sample census pages will help you read the images of actual census pages on Ancestry. And the blank pedigree charts and other forms will help you organise your work.


Don't know if they are available on Rootsweb or if you don't have a subscription. You may be able to access them with credits.

These are the titles of the charts and forms which are available.

Ancestral Chart
Allows you to record the ancestors from whom you directly descend.

Research Calendar
Gives an account of every record source you have searched.

Research Extract
Summarizes information which may be time-consuming or difficult to reread quickly.

Correspondence Record

Source Summary
Provides quick reference to information and sources you have found for a particular family.

US Census Forms
Allows you to read column headings and record information from the US Census.


UK Census Forms
Allows you to read column headings and record information from the UK Census.


Canadian Census Forms
Allows you to read column headings and record information from the Canadian Census.

Ummmmm No I don't use them. I'm not that organised and it seems to me it would take just a long to fill the forms in as it would to enter the info onto the computer or print off the info and file it in a folder.
