i love both but if i leave any around eldest has black jacks and laddo has fruit salads and Tiddler doesnt eat them

Ooh, bringing back memories - going into the sweetshop after Sunday School. Not only black jacks, and fruit salad! How about rainbow drops, sherbet dabs, liquorice sticks, barleysugars.....

Fruit Salads - every time.
The shop where I used to go and buy my 4 for a penny, it was one of those old places with a really high counter full of those huge tall sweetie jars. I was such a tiny tot that I could only just reach up to the counter and many times they didn't even see me !!!!

Did anyone have a twisted barley sugar stick with chocolate that went down through the middle?I spent my thruppence on 3 sticks of those every saturday.
I would suck the stick into a sharp point,then snap it off to enjoy the chocolate bit in the middle.

One of my favourite places to eat over here does cocktails in both flavours which taste exactly like the sweets................. yum!!
