that unless you change your privacy settings, all contacts (that you've shared your tree with) can view what threads you've posted on and how you've altered your tree?

Look on home page and my updates.

Click on privacy settings to change your settings.

Have posted this on chat just to let people know.

Looks like tips already knew and were ahead of us lol. I must spend too much time chatting to notice changes lol

I posted a thread on Tips yesterday about this. In addition, you can also chose to see updates made by other members who have shared their tree with you.

Re Marion's point, whilst this is a different issue altogether, it might be nice if GR omitted contacts you have already made or at least indicated whether or not there had been prior contact.

the Charts are still there:-

Go to "Help" on the bar at the top

Then to FAQs down the left side

and then "General Stuff"

and then "Where are the printable charts "

and up they pop (I hope !)

Most interesting, now I know what my OH has been upto!!

I changed my privacy settings and a few minutes later went back to check what was there. The new privacy box is gone. Has that happened for everyone. Is it only there until you change your settings.
