Does anyone on here subscribe to findmypast?

Just had a look at their subscription charges and they are not cheap. £54.95 for 6 mths and £89.95 for 12 mths.

So Genes is going to change!looks like they will be merging it with findmypast and scotlands people then..

Well i have just watched the News, and according to the report Genes Reunted is a part of the sale to Brightsolid.

Saw that on the news Uzzi...... when you think of facebook and the like, there are many sites coming online which join friends together.......but that is a huge loss to make.....and Brightsolid rang a bell, and then you said it did the 1911 census, and that was where I have seen it.....

I wonder who has GR now....

ITV has sold Friends Reunited for £25m, despite having paid £175m for it.

The buyer is Brightsolid Limited, which is owned by DC Thomson, Dundee-based publisher of comics such as the Beano.
