Dear All

Hello

When I was a young kid years ago,
there was a huge sugar factory to where we lived.
There were a lot of other factories and a distillery too.

They were situated by a river.
My little friends and me would play by the embankment.

Now all these places have been knocked down and a huge office
complex has been built. Uggghh!

Best wishes to all

Catherine,

strange that you should write, " Just had a Gander ""

A site of sugar bakers had on it a family line......called a gaggle of "Ganders" they were sugar bakers......(based in London-Surrey)
