	Hi Hawthorn This is from that site(saved to my favourites) In 2008, £30,000.00 from 1971 is worth £317,765.36 using the retail price index. £564,465.42 using average earnings. Linda :o) OOPs wrong way round Sorry In 1971, £30,000.00 from 2008 is worth £2,832.28 using the retail price index. £1,594.43 using average earnings.
