Yes, you will receive first, an email from GR in your normal Inbox, stating that there is a message for you. You can either go through your GR email, or log into GR in your normal way, and go to 'Messages". There will be one from the tree owner, giving you access to their tree. Their name will also automatically go into your Contacts list for you to be able to contact them (via GR in the same way) any time in the future.

Just mentioning that a few times, my contacts have had problems giving access and it hasn't come through immediately so if you have problems, let us know and we'll advise you further.

You can only view another person's tree if they give you permission to view it.
Go to "Search Trees" and search for a person/date and when the list is generated, select the name of the tree owner, and click on it to send a private message asking for access.

After you are given access, go to your own tree and above it is a drop down list of the trees you have access to. Click on the name of the tree owner.
