Uggers ,have got a tree for my adoptive Dad,going back to about 1790.
I am happy enough to have that.I would have loved to have been able to trace my Birth side ,but I think it is so complicated I would hit more brick walls than anyone ,and that would be right near the beginning lol.It's a good job I don't get upset by it.But I can imagine some people would.I just accept things as they are ,and feel very grateful that I was adopted.Otherwise I know I would have had a S**t upbringing.

Of course :) ...........but need more time and cash lol to get further with

some branches and to knock numerous brick walls down !!!

Well I'm still doing mine but do you know .........I really can't remember the last time I got a message of someone on here being interested in any of the people in my tree............perhaps I'm from a really exclusive family.........lol

Yes, I still keep coming back to it. I am doing MY mum's side, My dad's side and OH's mum's and OH's dad's side, so I try to do one at a time, otherwise it can be confusing.

At present, waiting on a reply from the Records Office for my mum's ancestors. First applied in April, then I sent a reminder in July, but still no information forthcoming - only how much it will cost me - so I'm having a break at the moment, only answering queries from GR members.
