Muffy, l think you have to give them a little freedom, l used to tell mine not to go pass so & so's house and not to cross the road, l was always standing at the window watching till one day OH said to me, you can't keep them wrapped up forever and its true, you know your kids and if you can trust them to do as their told, bet they love playing out.

About 7 or 8? Do you know, although I felt exactly like you at the time, I really can't remember properly now.

When you let them go and play out the front?

I'm sat by the window in the living room watching my two play out front out of the corner of my eye !!! but pretending to be deeply engrossed on here so they don't realise I'm doing it lol.

I live in a quiet cul de sac and I've given them strict guidelines about how far they're allowed to go etc..but it's horrible lol.xx
