Has anyone got a bag as big as that one that Alex Polizi has. Was in an up market garden centre on Sunday, an saw one like hers, but not quite as big. Thought, oh if it's good enough for her, I'll have one to brighten up a dark outfit in the winter. Until I saw the price ticket - £100. Phew, OH nearly had to pick me up off the floor and administer a medicinal Brandy. Far too hot for my blood. |

Seriously no. I have to have a bag that goes across my bosom cos I have one hand occupied with my crutch. I need the other free to knock thoughtless people out of my way on the pavement and to open doors :-)) |

Sue M, I know what you mean. I prefer one that I can get my arm through with the straps on my shoulder and the bag under my arm. Years ago, when I was allowed to do big city shopping on my own, I liked a bag that had a long stap on it, and would put my head through it. The actual bag would be across my front, with less chance of being robbed. This was before 'bum bags' were invented. |
