I have just been speaking to one of my contacts, a definite link, we chatted for about 10 minutes and he is all the way away in Sydney.

Actually I am doubly thrilled because since losing some of my hearing I have become a somewhat phone phobic (if that is the right expression), the phones we had I could never hear the person speaking which was such a strain. But we have a new phone and I don't know if it was that or the fact that he had a strong clear voice but I could hear most of what he said perfectly.
So that was great.

When we think of the amount of technology invented in our lifetime, it is amazing.

If you had made contact with this person a few years ago, you would have had to book a call many hours, or even days ahead.

We can remember the first time we saw pictures on a small tv, but today the youngsters take so much for granted.

Enjoy your new phone but also, think of the phone bill!!
