Hello Annie,
Personel dept HA HA there the biggest laugh going, even the citizens adivise people who are acting on our behalf cant get answers from them.Some weeeks he gets SSP others he dont, he is even "at work" sometimes and gets paid for that LOL..
Really he doesnt want to go to work for that sort of company but we both think it will do him good to try and go back , it will only be 10 hrs aweek so not alot.

Hi Ann it seems it is a maximum of 28 weeks if you google "A return to work" it tells you all about it on there

Hello all,
I have googled and all I can come up with is returning to work from maternity leave.
Does anyone know how many weeks you are allowed of for long term illness. I am not sure if its 24 or 28 weeks.
OH is thinking of returning to work part time after his stroke.
Its getting near to those sort of weeks so he will have to decide soon.
