Just wanted to share my news 2 days ago I got intouch with somone from this site who I thought might be a relation and bingo she turns out to be Gt Aunt and she has been able to add so many relatives on my tree . Its a fantastic feeling .

How Lovely.Makes you realise how far the families extended. We think we know our circle of family but then when researching we find how far the family extended.
I have made loads of family contacts through genes on both sides of my family and still get a buzz when i find yet another contact who we share grtx whatever grandparents and are descended from their children

It's nice when things work out right and a chunk drops into your lap, especially if it's an area where you would have difficulty accessing records personally.

I received a load of data on a Channel Islands branch today: doing that myself would have been almost impossible.
