I probably should have done more than I have with my life.I have travelled a bit, cared for people and have a lovely Hubby and 2 grown up children. If I died tomorrow I would like to think my kids would be able to get on in life knowing they have been loved and encouraged to do the best they can. They would miss me ,but hopefully have good memories of their short, tubby Mum lol

Yes Uzzi...lol although I was a late starter :-)) I always wanted the sort of family life I didn't enjoy as a child. Although I never wanted for anything it was always given without love. My Mother died in 1959 and stepmother number one was a complete witch!!!! That's why I went to live with my sister and her family when I was 12. She was 19 years older than me. That saved me from murdering Father or the witch!!!

I lived in Frankfurt for 2 years and Madrid for 2 years before meeting hubby and settling down.

I worked up until Jan 08 and really enjoyed being 'useful' but my family are still number one in my life :-))

Blimey, that was a profound post!!!

I have a wonderful husband and three lovely children. That I guess is my greatest achieved goal.

I have held directorships but they meant nothing when compared to bringing up the children when they were very young on a farm where they could be non materialistic

I have travelled a lot (even to Australia) but do love to come home to my house but I would live abroad again if I could.

There are still some things I would like to achieve but time is running out (as well as the money to do it with).

Lastly, I have a TV in every room and they are usually all on as I am a news freak...lol

I don't have a tele anymore by choice, nor do I listen to hit stuff radio, I can not tell you what is the latest fashion , craze, or song in the hit parade, at least untill the net reports it and I can be bothered to look.
But what I am is happy in my clothes and my talk amongst those who are friends, I am happy to rememeber the monkees or the stones.
I don't need the changing needs to give me a goal, my goal was to be loved and to be happy yes I can work on that but if I died today I have done what I wanted.

Have you ?
