My membership was up 3 days ago and they couldn't renew automatic cos my card had expired.

I actually ( heaven forbid ) ummmmed and ahhhhed about giving them the new datails.

But ( obviously ) I did and I am soooo pleased cos no matter what this site does have a lot going for it ....apart from the genealogy stuff,
It has moans and groans like any real life, it also has laughter and support when you need it most and ya can't always get that in real time.
If really desperate at the darkest hour of the night where else can you find somebody or something to make you smile ...here ! not at the neighbours who wouldn't thank you if you woke them up !

So friends ( Romans and yokels ) and foe alike

Well said Uzzi, I agree with you, as in 'real' life, there are people we like a lot, people we wouldn't like to be without, people who irritate but who we tolerate and people we just don't like. Life encapsulated.

grins @ Berona glad you have enjoyed it, been fun here also trying to find things to put up and not offend.

Put them up in batches or singly. If one gets zapped, the others are still there for people who are not on the boards right now. Anyone would have to be a sad nasty not to laugh at them.

I had a similar problem ... my membership was also up 3 days ago ... I had changed card since last time .... but had lots of problems getting new card to accept ... eventually got there - as you can see ..... so it seems this site is stuck with us both for a while longer yet LOL
