Did everyone enjoy the programme last night I found it interesting even though nobody was famous except Kim Cattrell herself.

i thought it was very good, one of the best i've seen, nice to read at the end of the programme that the sisters had been in touch with their half-siblings in australia.

Very interseting, I think it was a lovely thing Kim did for her mum and Aunties. It has been a mystery for them almost all their life what happened to their so called dad. With them all getting on in years they can finally have some closure although the truth was so painful for them.

Just watched the Kim Cattrell one on bbci player, and think it is one of the best ever.

Her g.mother, uneducated and unskilled must have struggled to bring up her three daughters, but she obviously brought them up well, as they all appear to have done well in educating themselves, and now have comfortable lives.

So glad they have made contact with their half siblings, and hope they can enjoy their twilight years getting to know them better. Pity a half sister died before they found them.

I really enjoyed watching it and thought it was one of the best..........................but ( lol ) looking back did it really find out about Kim's family as all it did was focus on one person - so not really tracing her family tree at all.....

But like I said it was good and I did enjoy it

xx

You may remember her from the film Mannequin in the 1980s where she played the Mannequin that came to life in the department store and helped a Window Dresser dress the windows lol

We could really relate to this programme in many ways, because OH's grandfather 'disappeared' in the 1930s , leaving a wife and 3 daughters in Scotland and nobody knew what became of him.
A few months ago I 'found him.
He was on an incoming passenger list, arriving in Southampton from South Africa...with a new wife and child.....
