Thank you all so much for the very kind words and thoughts.

I've not had a very good couple of days. When I arrived at the hospital the room was swimming and I was unable to speak. They were brilliant and I was being nebulised and on a heart monitor within minutes. I spent my first night in the high dependancy unit and that was horrible!

The specialist who examined me at about 2 am told me I was a very lucky boy and another five minutes could very well have made me an asthma statistic! That was (in the words of Homer Simpson) an epiphany!

I'm a touch feeble and dying for a bath, and then I'm going to spend the evening with Mrs W and the little W's.

Thanks again, and it's really nice to be back.
