Daughter has said she is cooking tonight.Have offered to chop things in preparation...she said no thanks. But I sneaked out and chopped celery. She heard me chopping very quietly...was found out.I sneaked out and picked the parsley...found out lol.Think I may to go for a walk or something. She isn't a child ....she's 26!!!!!!!!!! I am sure she is quite capable, but being Mum it is hard staying out of the way.
I bet she makes a flaming mess ,but it will be ok for me to do the clearing up LOL

I wish someone would cook my tea, especially on a Saturday night. OH is absolutely awful at cooking. He can manage to make a mean cup of tea, and his breakfast toast, and that is it. When I go in hospital, which is quite often, out he fetches his pile of takeaway delivered menus. Even when I stock up the freezer with easy to warm up meals for planned hospitlisation, he still uses his takeaway menus.
So Jane, as hard as it is, sit back and enjoy.
