Hi, Could someone point me in the right direction please.....I know that a relative who was killed during ww1, received some kind of Citation, it may have possibly been a MID, but not sure, would there be a record somewhere of the citation? if so, where would I start looking please? |

You may be lucky and find a reference in the London Gazette. Alternatively it may be reported in the local newspaper. Your library may have copies, but failing that you can try |

Ancestry now have the medal records of WW1 servicemen. If you don't have access to it let me have the details of your relative and I will check there for you. |
