How Jade's sons cope with her loss

The father of Jade Goody's two young sons has revealed how they are coping with their loss.

GMTV presenter Jeff Brazier told the Sunday Mirror that Bobby, six, and Freddy, four, often ask him what their mother does in heaven.

Goody lost her battle with cervical cancer on Mother's Day five months ago, aged 27.

Brazier, 30, who dated the reality TV star between 2002 and 2004, said the boys believe their mother can hear them when they tell her about their day.

He said: "The most common question is 'What's mummy doing in heaven right now?'

"And you hear them say all sorts of things from 'she's going fishing with God' to 'mummy's walking her dog - she's got a doggy in heaven'.

"Obviously, when Jade was ill she lost her hair through the chemotherapy and radiotherapy, so they ask me, 'has mummy got her hair back?'

"They say whatever comes into their minds but it's all healthy and always happy and I encourage it."

Asked about Goody's widower Jack Tweed, Brazier said he was "young and misguided" and needed to become a better role model for the boys.

"Jack's not a bad person, he is just young and misguided. I refuse to judge him because I really respected his influence on Jade's happiness in her last few months."

It is so nice to see that Jeff is being such a good father, and also that he is not slagging Jack Tweed off, even tho he is behaving like an idiot . Makes a nice change from people sniping at one another.
I wish Jeff and the boys every happiness in the future.

I'm pleased to hear all this. Jade picked a wonderful Dad for her children.
Shame the press don't have Jeff's attitude to other people.
The boys seem to be doing well, I reckon that Jade would be very proud of them and pleased with the way thet are coping.

The type of thing we all tell our children isn't it?
So sweet to think that they 'know' what mummy is doing now.
I gives them time to grow up a little and pick their own time to understand... clever man.

I saw Jeff on tv today briefly, he was interviewing young hopefuls for a talent thing or something, he was so chirpy, he is still young and I bet he and the lads have a great time together. Not sure if he is in a relationship now but it would be lovely if later on he meets someone who will be as good a stepmother to the boys as he is a dad amd then they go on to have more children as half siblings to Jade's boys.
