If someone spat at me,and it landed on me, after giving them a good -pasting, (well in theory), I would try to be tested for contamination by bodily flueds. What about people that have a low immune system etc.

There was a thread about this a while back.... I was convinced it was against the law.... however.... to spit AT someone is not, I don't think, against the law.... but for someone to spit at someone, and it actually hits that someone, then it becomes an assault.

And with so many illnesses spread easily from spit, I think it should be a criminal offence to spit anywhere out in the public! It is one of the most offensive things I see on a day to day basis!!

People spit and hawk all over the pavement.... and kiddies walk through it in their shoes..... it gets all over pram and pushchair wheels, and into homes where little ones should be safe to walk and crawl around on their own floors!

ps.... why is it that most men find it ok to spit? And it seems it is ok for a boy to spit, but not for a girl? Grrrrrrrrrr!! xxxxx
