Just need to arrange a clear day my end (kids & job) then I will go for it

I will start collecting my 20p, and make a list of everything which I need to find out.

First time I will be finding my feet so next time i visit I will now what is what

DEB jus take some info as much as poss!!
you can leave it in locker & come back to it!
take loads of 20p,s as thats wot it cost to print stuff!
1st time you proberly wont need a readers card & there keeping that down at the momentt ! take a day to suss it out, then be prpared nx time!
you pay 20p for a card to have records printed of! & 20p for each record!!

only expence is coffee shop!!

Debbie, you will need 2 forms of ID to obtain a readers card, one should be a passport/photo driving licence and the other a recent utility bill/bank statement. They take your photo there to put on the card.

You dont have to book for the 1911 census now

Just go on one of the computers on first floor and you can look at all census plus more.

I am off to Kew tomorrow for the day. Tuesday and thrusdays are the best days to go as it stays open until 7pm.

I need to arrange a visit to kew in the distant future but I feel like a fish out of water.
I keep putting it off as I have not got a clue, on how the system works their. Could sombody please give me some advice, on how to handle the first visit
