the advert where WITCH? magazine are saying they will give you a free mag which will help you solve problems with your pc/laptop.

This is a sprat to catch a mackerel, as they ask you to donate to their costs, but there just happens to be an "offer" on just now that it's only £3 per month for 3mths.

You can imagine where I felt like telling her to stick her mag, but refrained from doing so, and told her I was not in a positition to commit myself financially, and to forget the mag.

So BEWARE

Well pointed out Vods.........Which are usually an independent assessor...so I'm suprised they are asking for monthly donations.

Stevie. She said it was because the were a charity, and were feeling the pinch, and she said we're all feeling the pinch aren't we!!

Apparently the monthy charge is usually either £9 or £10 a month she said.

Hi Vods,
I've just been looking at their website..............I can't see anywhere where they say they are a charity. They appear to be an independent corporate body, who rely on monthly memberships & selling of magazines......... So I think she was telling you a porkie about them being a charity.

There computer magazine offer is that typical mackeral. Where they offer you a discount for the 1st few months, then its trice the price there after.
