Crongratulations all those who passed
to those who didn't or didn't get the pass they needed think about trying again.

To Julia in Derbyshire .....well I just take me hat off to you, ahhhh what can I say. I think you at taking them when you did are so brave. My Dad did a degree thro' open university and as proud as I am of his cap and gown photo at the age of 50+ I don't think I could follow in those footsteps. So 10yrs late but well done you also

Well thanks Joy. I always did well in history at school, but went down the road of commercial collge on leaving school. I always read history based novels, to keep up my interest, which was a two fold blessing, the history and literature. Four children, and many years later, I thought I would give the old 'A' levels a go, for my selfsatisfaction. I took English Literature and British and European History, and despite alot of hard work, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks Again

I took mine 10yrs ago aged 53, and believe you me, they are not a piece of cake, even at that age. Anybody who is successful in this, no matter what age, has to work damned well hard. So, a very big congratulations from me and very well done.
