I'm surprised that no-one has invented a better replacement for the traditional light bulb which has been around for about 100 years (?). In this day & age where technology is improving at a rate of knots I wonder why there isn't some sort of bulb which lasts forever & gives out decent light, not the inferior light from the eco-friendly bulbs. |

Because my eyes take some time to adjust to electric light I am quite grateful for the slow warm up. We use a 25watt eco-light bulb where we need extra light. with only one light fitting in the sitting room we needed it. |
