Steve I used to feel llike that now if I post a thread and it falls so what....I dont get disheartened it may that people want fun or dont want fun they want a debate depends on the mood I have posted and a thread the place look empty gone off and do research and come back to 30 replys it depends on the day I think and the people about nothing to do with you...

My thread has now been resurrected on General...well, one of them anyway :-))....they still won't get answered, but I do know they are read which is the main thing I suppose and to look on the bright side....I know where the info is when I lose it on my PC :-)))

Now you take that back about the boards being slow Stevie!....I will have you know that I posted two threads on General today....twice I might add....and before you could say 'Who gives a fig' they were at the bottom of page two! Probably never to be seen again.

Well I could moan about the A to Zs,

I could moan about the boards being slow,

I could moan about this that & the other. .........Not that I moan a lot. lol :o))

But the boards reflect the people who post onto it.

Apart from a question I have on the TTF board, which I am getting nowhere with, I've not had a good posting session for days. There does not seem to be anything to add to, at the moment. The comps., and A-Z are okey, if they appeal to you, but they're not for me. Even been sat doing a jigsaw this afternoon. Geez, and it's not winter yet.
But, overall, on both boards, the amount of contributors/posters are getting less and less

I used to like the fun games but they carry on too long nowadays, personally don't even bother looking on them now.

I always used to go to Gen first then General used to have it's fair share of fighting and bickering thats how I initially ended up on chat.

This past year I have more or less stayed away from chat as theres so much bickering......It Does get pretty tedious...

Shame because there are a lot of people I speak to around the world who would've liked to come and chat once upon a time...

That's because its full of games threads clairjo LOL.

Seriously, it's been said lots of times, people obviously like doing the quizzes and games, and it has as much value as light relief as chatting does, so we should have another board for it.

Maybe, if FMP notice what a community feel this site has, taking the good with the bad, they will perhaps do that. Time will tell.

In my experience the General Board does'nt have the same ammount of bickering and back stabbing as chat.
Why wont gr put up a seperate board, I am sure this has been raised many times bafore?

Folk just add if theres nothing more thats takes their fancy.
Theres never so many on the go if theres a drama/fight going on, as they are too busy catching up on who said what about who,where when and why lol

Far to many,
I used to always come to general first when I logged on but now it's Chat, mainly because of all the a-z etc it seems like the board is stagnant and boring. I still come and visit my favorite threads but even now on the rare occassion I put a thread up it is on Chat.. Shame really.

Would gr not reconsider setting up a quiz type board because obviously some people enjoy them?

I wonder if people are really keen on them but just add to them because there is nothing else to add to, sort of catch 22. And yes Daff, I have said before there should be a games board, don't know why they don't do it.

edit, I can count 4 on chat TW.

But that's why I stopped bothering with gen in the first place, because it was becoming flooded with game threads, pushing current threads off the page. I got fed up of having to keep going to page 2 to retrieve a thread I'd only posted on less than an hour before, while the front page was full of game threads.

Yep... but if there was a board just for them, that would be really good! And people must like them, otherwise they wouldn't add to them... I did wonder if they had turned into sort of chatty threads, but they haven't, in the main!
