I know this is an odd question but can anyone remember (or saw) the Everly Brothers tour of the UK in 1960.I was just 15 when I saw them and I remember it was towards the back end of the year. My sister in law also saw the Everlys on this tour and she says Johnny Ray was on the bill . . . . . I don't think so. Can anyone solve the disagreement?

I am sure we saw them on tour with Buddy Holly, circa 1957/8 at the Granada, East Ham...

Thanks folks.

Frederick - that's very interesting, where did you get that information?

It's interesting that the date is April 1960 because I know for a fact I saw the show at Stockton on Tees Globe certainly after September of that year. I have to say I don't remember the support acts but I know Johnny Ray wasn't on the bill !

Googled Everly Bros Tour 1960, and that was one of many things that came up. F
