****Our visit to Jean****

Well I managed to get to see Jean, I trudged through the snow to get to the station, and told Jean that I made the most effort to see her, Jean gave me one of her smiles and laughed:)))

I'm sure those of you who know the four Amigo's will know that our visit was full of laughter. Jean is comfortable, and has a wonderful bed that we all wanted a go on, it goes up, down, sideways, vibrates, the lot, so however she wants to lie or sit, she can get comfortable. She drifts in and out of sleep, but when awake she can chat a while, before drifting off, but I'm sure I can say on behalf of Maz & David, we all felt good about seeing her, and seeing that Jane now can sleep at night knowing Jean is being well looked after. We all kept dry eyes, because we feel jean is being well looked after, and is getting good care.
As I said we had a laugh about all sorts, so that was a real bonus. We gave her your love, and she sends you hers, saying how kind you all are.

I think you can all feel better about Jean today, she is in good hands, and we all feel that she is well looked after.

Jane is doing so well, she is a real credit to Jean.

I'm really sorry to read that Jean has had to go into a hospice. They are the experts though so hopefully they will help to keep on top of the pain.

My mother's battle has practically mirrored Jean's all the way through. They even had the same ops on practically the same days, then thought it beaten but back it came with a vengeance.

Despite her own troubles, Jean was the first to offer support. I also remember how she longed for the 1911 census to be released! I'm glad you got your wish there, Jean.
