I suppose that now this lot have taken over this site, they will start trying to wring every penny they can out of members, as they are doing by not allowing bought and paid for records from the 1911 census site (My Records'), to be accessed on the Find My Past, 1911 subscription.
I would not recommend anyone taking a subscription for 1911 access only, you will have to re- enter all the info again for records you have on the 1911 site, if you wish to opt for the full records, i.e. Original documents and enumerators sheets, and I have found that using the exact details I have on my saved records on the 1911, will not throw up a record on the 1911 census when accessed through Find My Past.
Do not get mislead as I was.

Hi all, will have to wait and see how things go I suppose, but if it stays the same amount for continuous membership to gr, I will stick around as I would hate to lose contact with so many lovely people, I have found some wonderful friends on here since I joined in early 2005 I think it was.

The two sites are completely separate and will operate independently of each other. You may even get different results when searching.

I think some people assumed that 1911.com was being incorporated into the FMP subscription offering, when in fact it isn't, it is being run as s separate product.
