Went to see Spandau Ballet at the O2 last night on their 'Reformation' tour - and soooo glad I went cos they really did rock.

Bit of a slow start because they were doing some of their new stuff and the CD only came out this week, so most won't have known the songs - but as soon as the old favs kicked in the place errupted!!

The performance was also filmed for a DVD coming out on 30th November - it can be pre-ordered on their own dot com website if anyone wants it ..........

Fantastic venue, my fist time there - can't wait to go back in December to see Depeche Mode cos they will bring the house down :O))))

Hiya Muffs .....

It's a brilliant venue - the sound quality is amazing, so i fully expect DM to lift the roof lol

Much more 'intimate' feeling after the stadiums at Berlin & Paris - i'm really looking forward to some indoor gigs :O)


They didn't have a support group, but there was a guy on stage with a record deck playin all 80's and synth stuff...... the distant sound of Human League drew me in while my friend was chatting, and then after we had seated ourselves i was more than chuffed when he played a couple of DM hits lolol

I am pleased you enjoyed yourself. Not really my style of Music but I do like Human League.
My music taste is more Black Sabbath type. :-)
