If they are in picture format - jpeg for instance - you should be able to upload them.

Have a go and see how they come out. You can always delete if you aren't happy with the result, for instance, if the frame is too small to show all the details.

They are on file on my computer already - I wonder if I add them to picturetrail if I could attach them that way?

Cant you scan it as you would a photo and attach it that way?

attach a certificate to a person on your tree ie - instead of a photo.

I've seen people do it with census certs, but as the Scottish census certs aren't available on GR I have loads I have bought online that I would like to attach to the relevant family.
