Barbra, I'm usually up and out at 3.00am WA time. Even those mornings when I have a lay in I'm usually up at 4.30 am. Dawn is breaking at about 4.30am now.

My comp is still doing strange things with the internet. I may have to swallow my pride and get the shop to have a look at it :0((

G'day Barbra..:>))

Mmmmmm True, the sun dosent always shine in certain parts of Aussie..lol

The thing with this country ( being so large ) is we have three climates. Cool ( in the South ).... Sub -Tropical..( Central ) and Tropical - Monsoonal ( Far north )....so peeps have a choice what climate they would like to live in.

Can be wet ,cold, o/cast and miserable in Melbourne eg:10c ( south -east of the country ).....but up far north ( Cairns - Darwin ) at exactly the same time of day it can be 39c and people are in their swimming pools....lol

Melbourne is classified as Cool climate ( Generally ) along with Tasmania ( cooler again )...but we can still reach temps up to 43c plus during summer.Tasmania's weather is very similar to some parts of England and Ireland. Thats probably why the Brits settled in Tasmania not long after sailing into Sydney ( Botany Bay in 1788 ) ...then built up a colony in Tassie, as it was probably more suited to their home climate back in the U.K ....Hobart ,Tasmania is the second oldest town in Australia...next to Sydney

Sooooooo Yes,...somewhere in Australia the sun is shining, and its very warm to hot..... but it could be some 4 thousand plus kms away from where i live.....:>((

Sorry for the loooong story, but its a biiiig country, and you have to live here to understand it.....;>))

Hi Barbra and Colin

Colin, not hiding, have pm'd you.

Been out and back and shortly heading off to Busselton and then Margaret River. OH's choir is singing at the 9.30 service at Busselton and as it is only about 50 kms from there to Margaret River we decided to have half a day there.

I hope that you are keeping well

Regards

Hello Barbs, if you are still about. When it popped up on "My threads" with a recent post I wondered whether Alan was hiding from the ladies ... again.
Where is Alan by the way? I haven't spotted him on the Aussie thread recently, but I haven't looked today. It is only 5:45 am his time so he is still out walking and talking to wheelie bins.

Hi Allan, Barb and Sir Tone, loverly sunny day in Sydeny today, but still too plurry cold for my liking.
But glad you enjoyed Thailand. One of many places I have not been to, but maybe.
When "Knock Knock" (Liv Maesson if I remember correctly) was popular 40 something years ago I thought it was Take off your Clothes and come inside. A bit risque. Not really, but I was juvenile enough to be amused by the thought.
