Hi guys

My grans brother was killed in WW2 and we are looking for any records on him as my gran is still alive and has no records.

She wanted to know if there would be a normal death cert or wounld we need to apply somewhere else?

Also he was in the marines, is there anywehre we can find his service records etc from or any photos which may have been took in the military?

and finally he has a inscription on a war mermorial in portsmouth and wondereed if there was any pictures or anything on line of it.

Joan - Ive looked at the site you menetion for the photo but have looked down the list of names and cant see Ronald english as above? I must not be looking at the right place :-(

Hi Mark

I to was looking for information about my great uncle who lost his life on 601 LCM Flotilla
I found him on the war graves website, but was wondering if you can get another cert ?
Also did your gran have a photo of their troop?

My uncle's name was Arthur Tidy.
