it was cash as I said I was just going in the post tosend it by special delivery which cost £4-95 they would have received it the next day. My OH was with me he was just walking a bit behind me it could have only fell out of bag in just a few yards from car to post office he never saw it and there was a lot of people in the post office it was as I got to the counter I saw it was gone.

Brian I hope everyone thinks like you as I was going in the post office with a brown evelope with a Scottish address on it and was was going to get a special delivery envelope to put it in it must have come out of my bag but the saddest thing is I was sending my daughter £100 for Christmas and we are pensioners . I only hope someone worse off than me picked it up

If it was sealed, put a stamp on it and post it.

If unsealed look to see if the contents were worth posting first.

If you found a brown long envelope with an address on it but no stamp would you put it in the post box hand it in or keep it
