The woman with a million dollar voice who was plucked from obscurity earlier this year will be dripping in diamonds on loan from a city store when she makes a fairytale performance this weekend.

Susan Boyle, the overnight singing sensation discovered on Britain's Got Talent, has her own show 'I Dreamed a Dream - The Susan Boyle Show' which will be aired on ITV this Sunday.

In the hour-long programme, which will follow the X Factor final results show, the 48-year-old will be seen performing in a collection of diamonds and pearls borrowed from Norwich jewellers Winsor Bishop and its online rental business www.rentyourrocks.com.

The Scottish singer borrowed £40,000 of jewellery from the 175-year-old store, based in London Street, including a vintage Deco onyx and diamond pendant, ring and earrings.

During the show, she performs with her idol Elaine Paige who also wears a pair of vintage teardrop diamond earrings from Rent Your Rocks.

Sophie Croydon, 32, director of Winsor Bishop and founder of Rent Your Rocks, said: "Susan Boyle was just a woman next door who was catapulted to fame on Britain's Got Talent and is now considered as an A-list celebrity.

"For us to help somebody who was very much a woman next door and give them that celebrity feel is what Rent Your Rocks is all about - giving that celebrity feel to everybody.

"We are thrilled and amazed to work with Simon Cowell's production team and to work with Susan Boyle and Elaine Paige to give them that extra sparkle on the night."

As previously reported in the Evening News, the Norwich jewellers loaned £100,000 of diamonds to X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon. The only female finalist is expected to once again wear Winsor Bishop jewels in the final.

Meanwhile, Miss Boyle, who captured hearts across the globe with her audition on Britain's Got Talent last year, will be seen wearing red carpet jewellery usually adorned by 'A-list' celebrities, such as the red carpet earrings which have become the most popular piece in the collection, retailing at more than £24,000 with more than eight carats of diamonds.

Miss Boyle recently made history with the fastest-selling debut album for a female artist. Her album, 'I Dreamed a Dream', sold 410,000 copies in the UK in its first week, and broke records in the US.
