I have an "Annual Essentials Membership" on Ancestry. Is upgreading to "Annual Premium" worth it?

Are many Parish records are on the Premium one?

I have the Annual Premium Membership.

For me it's been well worth it as I can access all those London Parish records and I have a lot of Londoners in my tree. The additional cost has been paid for several times over when I think of the number of marriage certs I've not had to buy.

Plus, I'm doing a One Name Study and again, a lot of those are in London, so it's been a real help there.

I think it depends how many London ancestors you have. I upgraded and am so far not terribly convinced it was worth it, but I may well be proved wrong.

Hi Hawthorn. When I called Ancestry and told them that I was considering an upgrade - from Essentials to Premium - they gave me a 20% discount.
So I'm glad I called. Even if the discount hadn't applied, I'm glad that I decided to upgrade.

I've seen Quidsco mentioned on here a few times.....is it really all it's cracked up to be?

Not for me, it was a complete waste on money as none of the extra records were of any use, so I went back to 'Essentials'
