It was dark early here too. How long does it take before you can see outside at 5pm? Memory fails me!

It's still pretty dark at 07.00.
If the subject of adopting Continental times comes up again, as advocated by some who would like longer summer evenings, remember that is how it would be at 08.00 when the kids were setting off for school.

I would rather keep GMT (winter time) the whole year round and do away with messing around with the clocks twice a year.
