We went to Rome for a long weekend for our Christmas treat,, never again without a second mortgage! Would you pay £15 pund for a pint of beer? Sheesh! lol. I went up St. Peters dome at the Vatican, it cost £5 to climb 551 steps, the bottom ones were ok but the top around the dome were a nightmare! All on a slope and very narrow, i wasn't too bad going up but comming down i was pertrified and shaking! I had a man behind holding on to my hood and OH in front to stop me falling! and i shook like a leaf! |

i was the only woman of 3 that dared go! But glad i did it! Never again though! The city itself was soooo beautiful, we did alot of walking. The Coluseum was breathtaking :) |
