Know what you mean Ray, last two years daughter likes us to go to her house so kids have presents at home. But, I bye all the food and cook turkey here etc, then have to transport it all to her house. Still that's what mums and dads are for.

I know just what you mean though , I have a daughter who is really good at trying to map out our lives..........lol...........she gets right ticked off if her Dad is out and about doing what he wants to do when she needs a lift somewhere..............lol

My daughter and two grandchildren are coming round to my house for Christmas (her hubby's working).
I've bought the Christmas Puding and cream - she's providing everything else - and will probably be doing the cooking!

Giving the illusion I can't cook has really paid off!! :o)

I can't imagine my lot offering any money towards the Christmas nosh.....and they will be expecting to take home lumps of Turkey / Ham / cake etc............lol

the turkey is so fresh
its still running round the back garden
but we dont have to worry about stuffing it

ive been feeding it sage and onion stuffing for months

so its just catching it thats the problem

Daughters just announced she and grandaughter will be staying
from xmas eve to boxing day,, she thoughtfuly told her mum
that she will put £20 towards the food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RUPMSL not,

I just looked at my wife and did me Jim Royale shake of the head
oh and on Boxing day I can drive em the 20 miles home !!!!!!!!!!

Can I come round yours for Xmas ???? pmsl
