There are decent socks and then there are the shapeless foot tubes that parade as socks..........just wondering who got what , if any .......lol

YEY....I got socks today, as hinted at they would be useful.
Pack of plain black socks, 5 pairs....which I am going to mark in some way to make sure they stay mine.
Also got a pair of pop-them-together socks.... Didn't know they made such things.

I'm all set up for a while now.

i got two pair of slipper socks and i luv them, im not a fan of socks i dont own a "normal" pair, and im not keen on slippers either lol

but i luv me old slipper socks xxx

Pop them together socks ? I'm intrigued......lol......I've not heard of them Gwyn .

I got two pairs of lovely thick wooly socks from my daughter . I asked for ugly ones in the hopes that no one steals them off me ........lol

What are pop-them-together socks?

We have some can't find them anywhere socks.

Right...I'm reading the label on the socks packaging.....

They are called Popper Socks and are bear brand ( that's how it's written, with small letters)



They have a press stud type fastening about 3 centimetres down from the top edge/ rib of sock. This enables the pair to be popped together before washing, so hopefully avoiding Lost Sock Syndrome.
I'll ask daughter where she bought them.

I needed socks, black ones, but the lovely soft ones I could only buy at Primark are no longer there......only 'cotton rich' ones......don't want rich ones, only peasant style floppy ones.......have to make do with my almost threadbare ones until I can find suitable replacements to match my jogging bottoms......lol....

Bought socks for baby Grandsons and knickers for small Granddaughters stockings, but I was given a list of suggested stocking fillers and those were on them.......also some nice black ribbed socks for youngest son as a side present, as they were on his list too.....

Middle son always had sports socks......long and no heel in them......don't know why they make them like that.....

Gwyn...the " popper socks " sound like a really good idea .....I wonder if you will still have them as a pair this time next year ?

I bought 3 pairs of socks in the M&S sale last summer for my daughter and wore them myself.

I got a pair of boot slippers, which are really cosy ad a new pair of wellies which will come in handy with all the snow forcast for this week.

I'm wearing the bootie slipper sock things a friend bought me for Christmas and feeling pangs of guilt because I bought her a tin of Liquorice Allsorts ........life is just to complicated at Christmas......lol
