Oh yes Julie ....often the letter is the last of it ...sorry that your daughter is having another flair up .......

My son to has Arthritis which only 6% of people in the world get ...his is VERY early onset and now he is beening sent!!! around the hospitals to be "looked at" coz hes so young for this kind of arthritis they have told him he will need one knee and one hip replaced before hes 25!!!!

What a horrible medicial problem it is .....

She was sign off as it was 18 months after have her last steroid injection & she was showing no signs if it

Both my children have taken cod liver oil nearly all their life

Julie its unusual for the hospital to sign her off.......they "often" say call if you have any problems ...thats what my son does ...and they just give him a hospital appointmant for the "next" tuesday!!

May be worth a early call to the hospital before you see the GP.....but see the GP aswel

good luck

EDIT.....try a "good" cod liver oil....but it must be good from a good health food store not H&B

Hi Julie

Yes, it would be quite safe for your daughter and won't interfere with other medication. You will be able to find it somewhere like Boo#s.

Really hope it helps :)

Julie, has your daughter ever tried 'rosehip syrup'? Apart from being rich in vit c, it has anti-inflammatory properties. My OH is a pharmacist and says studies have shown it helps with the pain of arthritis.

On poor girl. The pain must be undescribable.

Hope she gets some kind of relief after her visit to the hospital.
