Hi Lily,

glad you are back, sorry if you tried to call Sunday, had lots of calls so line was busy.

I don't think I am up to reading this book yet but will do so at some stage, when I feel I can cope with the brutality of it.

I feel like reading something gentler for now.

take care
Lizxx

Hi Liz, i have renewed and hope that you are well, so sorry to hear of the death of your Aunt Joyce. I have read that book but was a while back so mind a bit fuzzy where it is concerned but is heart wrenching.
There is a dvd out now about the brutalty of the Christian!!!!! Brothers to young boys in their care. The name of it is "A Song for a Raggy Boy"
Take care,
Lily.

Just got this book off the charity bookshelf in our local supermarket - looks a bit heartwrenching so won't start reading it yet, about unmarried mums in Catholic homes in Ireland, where they have to give away their children after caring for them for the first three years then the children were sold by the nuns to parents overseas!
Anyone read it yet?
