Please would some kind soul advise me of half-term holidays until Summer 2010 in England. I live in Scotland.

UK school holidays - Dates for 2010
Please note that the dates given below are a guideline only, as UK school holidays may vary slightly from district to district.



School holiday dates 2010

Saturday changeover dates have been provided below.

Christmas and New Year 09/10 19 December - 2 January
February (spring) half term 13 - 20 February
Easter holiday 3 - 17 April (N.B. Term ends on Thursday 1 April)
May (summer) half term 29 May - 5 June
Summer holiday 24 July - 4 September
October (autumn) half term 23 - 30 October
Christmas and New Year 2010/11 18 December - 1 January

Just to add that a lot of schools will break up for Easter on 27th March for 2 weeks, the list of dates supplied previously for Easter seem to be followed more by the RC schools, around my part of Lancs anyway.

Madam's school hols RC school are
15th-19th Feb Half term
26th March - 12th April Easter hols
31st May - 4th June Half term
21st July Summer Hols

My grand daugthers dates for Easter is from 12th April until 26th April.
Half term 15th until 19th Feb.

Told my daugther to check with school as never heard of them not being off for easter.

I'm not sure about local school holidays this year, but I know in the past they've had just Good Friday and Easter Monday then back to school until the spring holiday a couple of weeks later.
Many schools do not have just 3 terms now, and so holidays are spaced out differently.
