If the skin is hard and dry and cracked you need a chiropodist or buy a foot cream which softens it.

hi puss..go or ring chemist ..see if the pharmacist can offer help..if not ring your doctor to see him /her asap dont suffer it..

I have a spur and suffered similar pain but had an injection arranged by my gp at the hospital and not felt the pain for over 10 years now - worth a look into at least.

OH had same thing, cured after a while with injections,

most commonly called "Policemans Heel" F.
